This blog isn't dead. I actually have plans to do something with it kinda soon.
I've just noticed that the song on the banner for this blog is actually from last Christmas, given that it's nearly Christmas for 2011 I figured I should write and say something.
I've legitimately been very busy for the past few months, I've undertaken a lot of personal projects along side my regular University and work commitments (on that note: I'm a lecturer at an educational institution now!).
Also I just deleted a bunch of fake user accounts that someone or something has made in order to spam my site. Not too sure how I'm going to deal with the problem in the long run, but some regular accounts may have got deleted in the process (I'm pretty sure the ones I deleted weren't real people though).
Hope everyone is studying hard for exams and what not!
Today was the official opening of Gemcom's new office in Mongolia (where Jakki has been helping out).
Jakki played a large part in getting this office open, and I wish I could be there with her at the opening party, but I can't - so this is as best I can do!
I'm so proud of her, and everyone should join me in congratulating her on her achievement!
Today my beautiful girlfriend, Jakki left on a plane for Mongolia!
She's done so well at her job, that she's been asked to go to Mongolia for three weeks to help them sort things out at a new office that's just opened there!
I'll miss her so much, but I'm so proud of her and I think everyone should join me in saying well done, Jakki!
We recently went to Albany for a wedding, too, which was amazing. I have lots of photos and I'll write a proper blog post and everything about it soon! But right now I'm a bit tired from taking Jakki to the airport and getting back from Albany and all that.
PS: The picture of Jakki on the boardwalk up the top is not posed or anything! She was taking pictures of flowers and I thought she looked nice so I took a photo of her... which is probably why she has a 'wtf are you doing' kind of smile on her face.
Me On deviantART
I don't use this at all anymore. There's some really old stuff of mine here. In the future, if I want to showcase stuff I've made I'll almost certainly make a page on this blog.
