Here is a detailed explanation of all the criteria our movie scores are based on:
IH: This is "Intentional Humour". It is a measure of how funny we found the deliberate jokes/gags in the film. 0 is not funny at all, 10 is very funny.
UH: This is "Unintentional Humour". It is a measure of how funny we found the stuff that wasn't meant to be funny. You know how sometimes you see something serious in a film, but you find it funny? Yeah, that's what this is. 0 means we didn't laugh at serious bits, 10 means we laughed a lot at serious bits.
P: Plausibility. This shouldn't require much explaination. It is simply a measure of how plausible the film was. 0 is not plausible and 10 is very plausible.
L: Length. This is not a measure of how long the film actually was, but a measure of how effectively we think the length of the film was used. 0 is very poor, 10 is excellent.
PoBP: This is "Portrayal of Black People". Most films now days involve a black man or woman. Typically they are either portrayed as a hero or a criminal. We rate 0 as a "bad" portrayal of black people (IE they are portrayed as criminals) and 10 as a "good" portrayal of black people.
EF: This is "Epic Factor" it is simply a measure of how TOTALLY MEGA SWEET the film was. A score of 0 indicates we were pretty bored in the film, whilst a score of 10 indicates we were frequently wetting ourselves over how epic the film was.
O: Overall. This is what we thought of the film on a whole. 0 is terrible, 10 is excellent.
SA: This simply stands for "See again". Yes means we would see the film again, and no means we would not. |
